    Clearer help when your network blocks sign-in or unlock

    • If your office Wi-Fi or school firewall blocks our sign-in, unlock, or checkout request, you'll now see three concrete fixes right next to the form instead of a generic error — switch to mobile data, try a personal device, or use Chrome Incognito.
    • A heads-up banner appears above the form if we already noticed your network blocks one of our services, so you know what to expect before you hit submit. Full help article with IT-allowlist domains lives at /help/network-blocked.

    Change your password from the account page

    • You can now change your account password directly from /account — useful if you redeemed an invite with a temporary password and want to set your own.
    • Forgot your password? The sign-in page now has a 'Forgot password?' link that sends a recovery email — set a new password from the link and you're back in.

    Mobile buy button now visible

    • The floating 'Buy founding seat' button now appears on phones too — previously a stale CSS rule was hiding it entirely below 640 px. The new mobile shape is a full-width pill at the bottom of the screen that hugs the safe-area on notched phones.
    • It stays out of the way while the cookie banner is up, slides in after you tap 'Got it', and fades back out automatically while you're already looking at a buy card.

    Mobile evidence-preview reader

    • The specimen viewer now opens full-screen on phones, with pages stacking into a single column at fit-to-width — no more side-by-side pages that spilled off the edge.
    • Pinch-to-zoom, single-finger scroll and a thumb-friendly bottom-right zoom pill replace the cramped desktop toolbar. The close button is now a proper 44 × 44 target.

    Welcome cover — cleaner pack-contents card

    • The 'In the pack' card on the welcome page now mirrors the sanitised-specimen card next to it — same icon, same paragraph layout, same prose voice. Easier to read at a glance.

    Redeem now lands you at your account

    • After redeeming your access code you now land on your account page at the top — with a green 'Welcome in' banner and an 'Open the handbook' button. Previously the page would scroll-restore mid-way and feel like nothing had changed.

    • After redeeming your access code, you're now properly signed in on the welcome page — no more landing back at the pricing section as if anonymous.

    Cookie banner & language toggle polish

    • Cookie banner now has a single 'Got it' button — the redundant close (X) is gone, especially helpful on mobile where it was eating space.
    • Language toggle tooltip simplified — just says 'Switch to Chinese (beta)' or 'Switch to English' instead of a long disclaimer.

    • The 'Set a password to come back any time' card on your account page now disappears properly once you've set a password — it was sticking around even after the password was saved.

    New support hub at /help

    • A proper help centre with topic cards for the founding window, access codes, refunds, the affiliate program, GDPR, and content corrections — plus a short Getting started, Reading the pack, and Account & sign-in onboarding row.
    • The sidebar's Help button now opens the hub; the Cmd+K search still works from the page so you can jump straight to any chapter or article.

    Launch countdown set · /updates scroll fix · cleaner contact page

    • Founding window opens at midnight tonight (26 May) and runs for 7 days — the countdown on the cover now ticks DOWN through the actual launch week.
    • Fixed a scroll trap on the Updates page where scrolling the right column would grab the left rail. New FAQ entries cover cross-device sign-in, the affiliate program, and how to reach support — one inbox at hello@playboook.com.

    • The Buy founding seat button now opens checkout correctly with the founding discount auto-applied.
