Content corrections

Source links break, GOV.UK pages move, and guidance changes. If something in Playboook no longer matches the current rules, a one-line email gets it fixed in the next deploy.

What to include

  • The URL inside Playboook where you spotted the issue (the chapter or sub-section link).
  • A one-line description of what changed in the official source.
  • The current official URL or document — so the maintainer can verify before editing.

Reply window

About a week. Small fixes (broken link, moved page) usually ship in the next deploy. Larger changes (rewriting a paragraph to reflect new guidance) may need a few days of source-checking first.

What counts as a correction

Factual mismatches between Playboook and an official source — GOV.UK, Arts Council England, RIBA, the Home Office. Typos, broken links, outdated screenshots, and stale figures all qualify. Differences of opinion about how to frame an application don't — they're noted but not treated as corrections.
