Where to find the code
Lemon Squeezy sends a receipt to your purchase email within a minute or two of payment clearing. The Playboook follow-up email — subject line 'Your Playboook access code' — arrives in the same inbox and contains the 10-character code in monospace at the top.
If you can't see it after five minutes, check spam / promotions. Both Resend (the sender) and your provider's filters are sometimes overcautious with codes-looking-like-codes.
How to redeem it
Open /unlock, paste the 10-character code, set a password, and submit. Your account is created and every chapter unlocks in the same step — no separate confirmation email to wait for.
The password you set during unlock is the one you'll use to sign back in on other devices. You can skip it and rely on magic links instead, but setting a password is faster on a phone.
Lost or missing code
Sign in at /account/sign-in using the email you bought with — the chapters open automatically once authentication succeeds, even if you never redeemed the code. If you can't sign in either, email hello@playboook.com from the address you purchased with, and the maintainer will reissue the code manually.
Switching devices
Sessions last about 30 days per browser. If you set a password during unlock, sign in at /account/sign-in on any new device and you're back in. If you skipped the password, request a magic link from the same page — it arrives in the email you redeemed with. The original access code from the purchase email also stays valid as a fallback unless the purchase was refunded.
